What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #58 | WTF Are Pickle Hot Dogs!?

Ep. #058 - Internet is down, so we drink! We get ready for the Labor Day weekend as I will have all the kids solo. Baby showers, recessive genes, and how we have beaten the odds for those genes somehow. How my family may have gotten “Ellis Island’ed” in Brazil as we lost the spelling of a family name. We also learn about penis implants and erectile dysfunction, is it pretty much old school Puma pumps??? How I’m apparently “hard to shop for” since I’m surrounded by uncultured swine! There are new “sewn-in rectangular” contacts, but we don’t have the internet to do more research… and I have to put an end to a one sided game of footsies. Bekah talks butt surgery and cleanup; we suggest installing bidets in all hospital rooms and decide we want a fancier one. The world seems to be united in ridiculing climate activists. How some emotional support animals are not quite conventional, but the public still shouldn’t have to deal with nonsense. Cannibals trick some dummy into a false sense of safety. I talk about how most of my encounters with “Portuguese speakers” currently in my life just ends up with me meeting more Mormons. We figured out what “pickle hot dogs” are and its now our middle kid’s favorite meal. And I finally was able to get our oldest kid back on the mats to continue her Brazilian Jiujitsu journey.

What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #56 | What’s That C Word?

Ep. #056 - We went to a “family fun day” fair and someone puked in the car on the way home. Our oldest may have some fear of heights, our middle one doesn’t care about anything, and our youngest is a cheeseball. Fair rides really are sometimes scary AF as we deal with carnies and centrifugal forces. I’m getting ver grey everywhere there is hair on me (thanks to the wife and kids). How Bekah and the kids make the hardest decisions in groceries stores, as our indecisive middle kid goes stubborn and our oldest wanted Dino nuggets to reenact bloody scenes with ketchup. We’re making homemade everything as I try to teach our oldest to make bread and cheese as we prepare to make pizza from scratch this weekend. Bekah retells some of her past athletic endeavors. We get to enjoy one of our favorite fighters in a new hilarious commercial. We get excited for UFC 292 and talk famous leg breaks and how we don’t know odds. I introduce Bekah to Streetbeefs with an awesome “pause” KO in a battle of man bun vs. mullet. Annnnd TURTLES…

What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #55 | Board of Dick-tators & Shenanigans Everywhere

Ep. #055 - What a week! Bekah has a blood pressure scare at a gas station. We fight with a group of losers on a power trip called a HOA Board of Directors. An issue with someone’s pronunciation of “terrace”. A dirty smoker could have blown everything to smithereens, and how you really shouldn’t try to smoke during hospital stays. Are aliens here? Maybe, but it smells fishy to me. Are octopi aliens? It wouldn’t surprise me… Shenanigans! We talk about a real life Pulp Fiction like situation and Good Samaritan laws. Salmon cakes and the time I got the Heimlich. AND a tornado destroyed our roof and backyard! Oh, and I also get self satisfaction from a one upper after years.
