What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #64 | Back Home - Anniversary Trip Part II

Ep. #064 - We’re back in studio and with better audio (SORRY!!!). We catch up on what we actually did during our anniversary trip. We talk about forging knives, how we’re probably not responsible enough for knives, and how I wish I could build a forge in our home. How I’m pretty good at writing people off and literally filing them under “dead to me” so I can live on ignoring them. Bekah books yet another iffy hotel, and tries to defend her poor choices. After downtown hippie shops ran their course (about 30 minutes) we realized we’re home bodies and even when we travel without the kids we talk about them the whole time. We chat about the fun times of having a kid that sleep walks and has night terrors that will freak out any parent. We watch the last few moments of the Paul vs. Danis boxing match as all chaos broke loose, so we take a quick memory lane stroll on UFC craziness of the past. Our oldest kid attended a tea party at her friend’s house and our middle kid keeps telling us she’s having friends over our home for sleepovers we know nothing about. Our oldest also recruited one of her best friends to start her own Brazilian jiujitsu journey and it was awesome to have another student join us. We also take a quick stroll down the Taylor Swift lane since I don’t know that lane at all. How did modern technology changed the prime masturbatory years in young men’s lives everywhere. We don’t think we would enjoy concerts being shown in movie theaters. We wrap up talking about the Jets conspiracy (and I hope that one is true) and we meet Broccoli Girl.

Ep. #063 - We’re on our way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After a work week where we both were just looking forward to leaving for the weekend, we finally get in the car and head out. It feels weird to not have the kids with us on a trip. I get made fun of for my grandma like driving and we talk about speeding tickets. To celebrate our “Iron Anniversary” we have a knife forging class planned; what kind of experience will it be? An aggressive Forged in Fire with Gordon Ramsey? I sure hope so! We watch an ad for a “Dwarfinator” wrestling event. Bekah asks me some dumb internet question about how we would argue with strangers. We talk about public human behaviors that piss me off. We talk about work dress codes and how some people don’t care about dress codes at all (women are difficult). Living in an HOA nightmares and headaches again and how retired losers need hobbies. Ep. #062 - Another week, another dollar. I was moody on the anniversary of my grandfather’s passing, the kids get haircuts at a kid’s salon (which I don’t remember being a thing when we were kids), our haircut journeys so far in life, and how our middle one says she can fight werewolves. What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #61 | Butt Licking and a Boat

Ep. #061 - Coming right off an UFC Fight Night event, we catch up and wind the week down. Our oldest one tells us how she doesn’t know the difference between brown sugar and coffee grounds, and we’re upset we missed the incident. Our middle monster woes continue as she continues to be a typical “sweet & sour” middle child. We watched a “Mighty Ducks”-like movie with Woody Harrelson called Champions and it was great. We discuss when its the right time to get kids involved in Brazilian Jiujitsu training. I hear about the TV show Becker, and I’m not sure I’m going to watch it (should I?). Trying to make learning reading fun with our oldest kid by teaching her to follow recipes and cooking them, but can she make sourdough on her first try? I show Bekah the time Big Jay Oakerson passed out mid show during a Legion of Skanks taping. We watch another crappy local business commercial that became quite controversial, and we’ll never forget. Anyone else has kids with weird taste for what they’ll eat? We start planning an anniversary trip and I guess what “secret activity” we’re doing is because Bekah is bad at hiding surprises. We react to the “Pennsyltucky” butt lick and a boat breakdown. We not only become wardrobe mishap investigators but we also make a solid offer.

What’s Happening, Honey? | Ep. #60 | Girl Farts, Fake Bomb Threats, & Plane Diarrhea

Ep. #060 - We come in a little tipsy from a long game series of flip cup, dealing with colds, and I apparently come in with “harsh” jokes. We were surprised with a fake bomb threat at a middle school that kept our oldest out of class for the day. I talk about a mischievous kid back in my school days that actually turned out alright (and he’s doing quite well as an adult). Bekah lets out a horrible fart mid recording that could be considered chemical warfare. Is sleep farting a thing? I don’t believe so… Bekah goes in the wild and realizes she can block people out with headphones. We talk about the shi##y situation on a Delta flight that had to take a u-turn because of diarrhea, and I remember old school CKY videos. Cops are called because of a hairy situation in a trunk, thankfully everyone has a sense of humor. 50 Cent roasts Money Mayweather after he got called out by Floyd. We try to figure out family halloween costumes because our middle monster doesn’t play nice with our ideas. A male gymnast “Anderson Silva’s” himself and doesn’t stick the landing. Older guy renders self checkout completely useless because he can’t handle the technology. And we wrap it up with a literal phone booth fighting match, a guy finds smart way to use viagra on dates, and a pole vaulter who had a bad jump.
